Our Story

Workwear that tells the truth about what it's made of.

Coalvane is built around one idea: a jacket, a shirt, or a sweater should be exactly what it says it is. Real cotton canvas when we say cotton canvas. Real corduroy, real wool, real denim — not a polyester blend dressed up in workwear language. If we can't confirm what a fabric actually is, we say so instead of guessing.

What we sell

Chore coats, barn coats, overshirts, denim jackets, wool overcoats, vests, unstructured blazers, and knit layers — the pieces that get worn on repeat because they work with what you already own and hold up to actually being worn. Not statement pieces, not seasonal noise. Clothes for the cold-morning errand run, the drive out to see family, standing around outside longer than you planned to.

How we build a listing

Every product page carries a real size chart in inches, taken from the garment itself, not a generic size guide copied across every item. Construction details — pockets, buttons, collar, seams — are described the way they actually are on the piece you'll receive. When we're not sure about a material claim, we leave it out rather than make it up.

What we believe

  • Honest descriptions over marketing language — if a fabric or detail isn't confirmed, we don't claim it.
  • Built for daily wear — pieces meant to be worn hard and often, not once for a photo.
  • Fair prices — no inflated "investment piece" pitch.
  • Real sizing — actual measurements, not vague S/M/L guesswork.

That's Coalvane. Straightforward clothes, honestly described, for the days you're actually out in them.
